Ok some explanation of this board is needed. First of all it is "mounted" on a 4'x 4' piece of 1" foam insulation. The "roads" and "grass" are made from craft foam. It is cheap and it protects the figures if they are knocked over. The buildings are made from foam core. They are clad in Fat Dragon Games scenery printed onto regular printer paper and glued in place. The interior walls are mostly cut balsa wood. The buildings are removable for transporting and trading out if needed. The furniture is made from balsa wood or sculpy. The sidewalks are casts from custom molds I made of Hirstarts flooring. The fencing is made from needle work plastic and dowel rod. The bushes are "moss covered rocks" from the Potery Barn. The fountain is built from Hirstarts with glue "water". Most of the vehicles are 1/48 scale HotWheels, I can't seem to find these anymore... Therec are lots of photoreduced posters and such used also. I would say not counting the cost of the vehicles, I have about $25 in materials. So it was cheap just lots of time and work to get it to look good.
