Best weapons for zombie killing

It's been proven recently that certain weapons do better against zombies than others. Here are some suggestions to help you choose the right weapon for your character.

The Flame Thrower- A large template weapon with an automatic vital makes this is the weapon of choice and the effect chart is entertaining as well.

The Chainsaw- Though you have to get in close, this weapon has the best chance to cause a vital hit behind the Flame Thrower. Plus the sound of the engine let's the zombies know you mean business! Eviserate those zombies!

The Crossbow- It has the range and never jams!

The Sword- The second best close combat weapon, be of the clan Macleod and take the zombies' heads.

The Grenade Launcher- When it absolutely, positively has to be there fast and the zombies are thick.

These are our favorite picks for weapons, give them a try in your games. Let us know how they go.

I remember first playing this at Who'syerCon! Now it's great to just sit back with the demo rules and have a go with some friends. My favorite is the chainsaw! nothing like wading into a group of zombies and lopping off heads
So any release date on this?

The chainsaw is great but I like using the grenade launcher.... when in doubt grenade em out!

I forgot, my personal favorite running over a pack of zombies in a car! What satisfaction.....

ever considered Molotov cocktails i mean The Flame Thrower is sweet but its kind of cumbersome a ww2 era Flame Thrower weighed around 50 to 60 pounds

& with Molotov's you can make them pritty easy depending on the game setting

>donald - There are Molitov Cocktails in the rules. They work like grenades but use the Burn Baby! chart like the flame thrower. They don't get the large area of effect the FT does though. Still a good weapon. Thanks for participating on our board
